Well I grew up in the wonderful town of Mobile, AL...where the beach and florida are just an hours drive away. So needless to say me and all my friends from there are quite spoiled. So now my folks have been here in H-town a couple years and now that i'm here too, one of the first things my mom wanted to do was hit up good ole Galveston and see what it is all about. Now before I go any further...I'll apoligize to anyone who actually likes Galveston and thinks it's a decent beach. Let me just tell you...It's CRAP for a beach. It resembles a ghost town. You actually end up with more black crap on your feet than sand at the end of the day. The sand is a lovely shade of skanky brown and hard as a rock! The place we ate at for some "seafood" was not even as good as wal-mart seafood and the seaguls hound over you and don't hesitate to come right up and skeeze the food off your plate. I'll bring some alka seltzer for them next time.
Now, with that said...Guess where i'm going for the weekend? GALVESTON...haha.
Zamboa and I got the invite yesterday to come stay at a little beach house with his boy and the rest of those interns who like to crunch numbers. I'm actually pretty pumped about it. Yeah you know my feelings about the beach there but i'm a firm believer that any place/situation can be made fun with the right attitudes and people! Don't you agree? Plus the ratio is going to be pretty good...11 total, 6 gals and 5 dudes.
One of my Favorite Vacation spots is a Snowboard/Skiing trip to anywhere in the Rockies where you can stay in a cozey cabin.
What's one of your Favorite Vacation Hot Spots??

Burd!
I really just laughed out loud when I read today's blog post...I'm sitting at my desk in the front of this office building and I'm hoping no one heard me. Anyway, everything is going great, but I am not in Starkville anymore. I am student teaching this fall in Brandon, so I'll be living at home until graduation time. Matt got me hooked on this blogging thing as well, but I like it! Thanks for making a comment on mine...isn't it nice to know that people are actually reading what you write...much better than facebook. I hope your doing well in Houston! I'm gonna be an official reader of your blog from now on!
I'm looking forward to coming to the beach in Houston. Hard sand makes it easier for me to own you in paddle ball.

Somewhere warm is my ideal vacation spot. I can definitely relate to your snoozing this morning. I did it for 20 minutes. Opened my eyes and stared at my dad when he came in to make sure I was awake, and he shook me anyway.... that was fun. Keep up the good work, man.
